Alex has newly discovered Alton Brown and Good Eats on the Food Network. In one of his episodes, he talked about one of the best places to buy spices--World Spice Merchants in Seattle, WA. So, of course, we had to visit when we were in Seattle. Thanks to Alton, our food (and food-making paraphernalia) budget has drastically increased.
The store smelled heavenly. We purchased Saigon Cinnamon, Alderwood Smoked Salt, Smoked Paprika, and Tikka Masala. Now he wants a spice grinder for Christmas.
